"A MILLION GIRLS WOULD KILL FOR THIS JOB." Emily Charlton, The Devil Wears Prada

Yes, I got my start in Fashion Publishing.

I could never put a price tag on the education I received. I know I sound just like the movie, but it is true. I worked with and learned from the best photographers, editors, models, and creative directors in the business. As I moved up the ranks, I became an editor. I learned how to see trends as well as ruthlessly edit pages of the magazine. I became a fashion stylist and creative director on magazine shoots. This is where I learned to create compelling imagery that told a story. I learned how to write engaging copy that made people want to buy the items we showcased on our pages.

In the second half of my career, I utilized my publishing experience to become a brand marketing communications leader with a reputation for delivering highly successful brand marketing, social, and public relations campaigns.

I bet you are asking, "what does this have to do with building an EQ brand and business?"

I am passionate about two things in my life. One is utilizing my career experience to create clear "best in class" strategies and services that help brands and businesses succeed.

The second thing I am passionate about jumps the meters.

CHRONICLE OF THE HORSE

It started when I was very young. It was the hunt prints that hung on our walls in the family home that drove the obsession. The obsession continued from there—the begging for the riding lessons that eventually happened when I was eleven years old. After one year, my parents were kind enough to trust me to take care of a 14.2 hand high pony named Sir Herbert (Herbie for short). He took me everywhere I wanted to go. To the ring where I learned valuable lessons in discipline, horse shows where I learned to lose graciously and win humbly and out in the fields where we could have fun and share the most important thing. The love of horses.

A SHARED PASSION

I have been passionate about horses my whole life, and as a "horse person," I know that other equestrians are just as passionate. In 2019, I created a platform where people could share their passion for the animals we love so much.

It is called Heart Horse - a love letter to horses.

I understood that everyone has a #hearthorse and that everyone has #hearthorsestories to share.

This platform was created for like-minded equestrians of all disciplines because everyone has a Heart Horse.

WE ARE UNIQUE

I chose to work in corporate for many years, but the saddle's pull was always calling.

In 2019 I decided to leave it all behind to focus on the two things I love most:

  1. Working with businesses to create compelling brand stories that resonate with their customers by unlocking what they want and creating the promise of something better using proven techniques and strategies to give their audience and customers what they wish for.
  2. To have the chance to work with like-minded people that love horses.

The goal is to partner with our clients and take a highly strategic, creative, and hands-on approach to listen, absorb, create, and deliver outstanding results.

Let us show you how we can help.
